Vimeo introduces AI content labels, requiring users to self-classify

Vimeo has introduced an AI content labeling system to promote transparency on synthetic content on its platform, following YouTube, TikTok and Meta.

Initially, this labeling will rely on creators' self-disclosure, but Vimeo plans to implement automated detection and labeling of AI-generated content in the future. (Vimeo Blog & TechCrunch)
